CPAP:

CPAP therapy is one of the most commonly used treatments for patients with OSA. The number of OSA cases has increased sharply in recent years. In obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSA), the upper airways are blocked during sleep, resulting in difficulty breathing and insufficient sleep. Nocturnal breathing stops or apnea can cause many health problems. Near-breathing stops (hypopneous) should also be treated. Apnea and hypopnea cause oxygen depletion, wake-up responses and a decrease in sleep efficiency during sleep. An effective therapy is therefore necessary.
