Since 1993, drs. Mehrdad Omidvar has held various leadership roles in commercial, investment, and operational capacities across the medical sector, consultancy, CRO laboratories, R&D, the pharmaceutical industry, and the scientific/academic world. Until 2018, he served as the CEO of the world’s largest MGP CRO laboratory, which encompassed divisions in Medical Technology (devices for monitoring vascular elasticity and anticoagulants), Pharmaceuticals (vitamin K antagonists and vascular calcification), and Food.
In addition to his role as Director of Business Development at CARIM, Europe’s largest cardiovascular research institute, Omidvar also held the position of International Director at Maastricht University in the Netherlands. He is the inventor of eight patented innovative medical systems and technologies. Furthermore, he founded the study program “Entrepreneurship & Innovation in the MedTech and Healthcare Sector” at the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship, Erasmus University.

Dr. Ajay Seth is an esteemed American scientist, surgeon, and inventor known for pioneering several innovative surgical techniques. In 2015, Dr. Seth became the first surgeon in the United States to perform a groundbreaking procedure that enabled an amputee to move and feel her bio-electronic prosthetic hand using her brain. Following the success of this “bionic miracle” surgery, Dr. Seth established collaborations with Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Maryland and Johns Hopkins University.
Dr. Seth earned his undergraduate medical degree through a combined program at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed his orthopedic residency at The Ohio State University and pursued a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at Allegheny General Hospital. In addition to his clinical and research endeavors, Dr. Seth serves as a Senior Lecturer at a university and is the CEO of Sparta USA.

Until 2018, she served as the Commercial Director at Vitak, a CRO Laboratory and Medical Device company affiliated with Maastricht University, which is recognized as the world’s largest MGP laboratory and R&D institute for intelligent medical technology. Leonard holds an MBA from Oklahoma City University and has also studied Public Accounting in the USA.
